What is the planning process for bringing a group here?

To start the planning process, contact CU Conference Service's Scheduling Conference Coordinator at 303- 492-5151 or click here to submit an Inquiry.

What dates can groups be brought to the University of Colorado at Boulder?

Groups can be brought to the University year-round. On-campus housing for groups can be provided from the last week in May to the first week in August.

What are the requirements for having a group on campus?

All conference groups staying at the University should be educational in nature and sponsored by one of our departments (the sponsor has no financial obligation; if a group does not have a sponsor, CU Conference Services can work with them to find one).

What are the housing and dining rates?

For groups staying on-campus, a customized housing and dining package will be created based on your room type, number of lodging nights, and meal package.

What are guarantees and will they affect the bill?

Guarantees are the estimated number of participants you feel will eat meals with us or attend a specific catered event. Housing meal and catering guarantees vary. Please contact us for more information.

When are final bills sent out for conferences?

A bill for the conference will be sent within 30 working days of the conference.

When is rooming list due?

The rooming list is due two weeks before the start of the conference/camp.

Can CU Conference Services take care of registration for a conference?

Yes. Our office can provide cost effective fax, mail-in, or web registration services for your group. Our registration services include designing the registration form, registration revenue collection, deposit and reconciliation, conference and revenue report generation, registration confirmations, conference rosters, and participant name badges.

Does a rooming list have to be provided or can participants sign up for housing directly with CU Conference Services?

For conference participants who would like to extend their stay at CU, early arrivals or late departures can be scheduled for one day before or after their official check-in and check-out date. Early arrivals and late departures for your conference staff can be arranged with your conference coordinator.
